I've had a little scrappy time lately and wanted to catch up on some LOS. These were fun to do, but I am still in a scrappy slump and am just not feeling terribly creative.

I know I have already blogged about our super fun time at Klackle's, but I felt like some of these photos just had to be scrapped. I love how this one with the apples turned out. I am trying to do more clean LOS, not exactly my style. I feel like I can never pull it off in a way that is aesthetically pleasing. But, that is my mission this year to master the simple clean look and have it look good! I am thinking I just won't have the time in the future as our family grows to spend as much time on each lo, so these LOS are my attempt at simple.

Well I didn't have enough room on this LO to journal the full story of the "FOOPAMAN" costume, so here goes. We went to every store that we could think of in TC looking for a costume that Daniel liked. Well the little boss didn't like any of them! Our last stop was a Halloween superstore, and finally we struck gold with the little boss. He saw one and only one costume that he liked Spider man! Well, mind you Daniel had never heard of or seen Spidey before this moment at the costume shop. I don't know what it is, but little boy seem to have super hero radar. He asked "is it?" as in who and what is it? We told him and with big excited eyes he repeated "SPIBA MAN!" That was that. That was the must have costume. We didn't think Daniel would wear the mask and frankly we really didn't want him wearing one either, so we showed him the Super man. We were in luck, Daniel was willing to take the Super Man, so home we went with one "Foopa man" costume in tow, and one little boy getting very excited over his "Foopa man". He talked about it nonstop for days! It just so happened that the "Foopa man" was terribly ITCHY, and Daniel wanted nothing to do with wearing it after our day at KLackle's. Of course this meant another round of costume shopping in the near future. And, of course Daniel didn't see a single costume that he liked. We finally found a train conductor's play outfit at the toy store that Daniel got excited about, and so come Halloween night a very cute and handsome little conductor he was. But the funny thing is that on Halloween Daniel decided that he wanted to wear the Foopa man, and so he did while running around and playing, but at last the itchies got to him and before evening he was done with Foopa man and back to being a train conductor. I think next year I am going to sew Daniel's costume to ensure that is itch free and nice and comfy.
