The plan was that Daniel and I would go to an early morning Easter service, but Daniel didn't sleep well due to a cold that he had, so I let him sleep in. By the
time he awoke and I got him ready it was too late even for the later Easter service. We spent the day together playing, reading books, and watching movies (Hermie, and Wild
Animal Baby)
It was cold but sunny, so it was actually looking promising for a late afternoon Easter egg hunt when Jesse got home. But wouldn't you know it the clouds rolled in, and before Jesse could make it home it started snowing and blowing!

Jesse arrives home after 3pm. It's time for Daniel to put his bunny bucket and some carrots out for the Easter bunny. We then head down to the basement for some tunes and
playtime... when all of a sudden
Jesse: "Daniel, did you hear that?"
Daniel:"What?"
me: "I think I hear
something too! Let's go check it out."
Jesse: "maybe it's the Easter bunny."
We head back up stairs. Wait for Daniel to notice his filled bunny bucket and missing carrots. He doesn't.
Us: "Look Daniel. We think the Easter bunny has been here."
Daniel: running to his filled bunny bucket "Look!" and "Easter Bunny, where are
youuu?" He kept asking that the rest of the afternoon.

The hunt is on!!! Daniel had tons of fun hunting eggs! We only hid 9 eggs. Each was filled with little treats. We thought he wouldn't have the attention span for much more. We were wrong he kept asking and looking for more eggs.

He didn't quite get the concept of searching them all out at once. Instead as soon as one
egg was found it was time to stop and open it and see what was inside.
