My new favorite spot

You know that one spot in your house that is your favorite. The one where you can get things done, steal a few moments for yourself, relax, whatever your thing is, well this is mine. My new favorite spot :) We went three and a half weeks without a dinning table. Family meals are important to me, and Jesse too. Without a table Jesse and I would hunch over the island on either side of the kids, while they were of course seated in their stools. Not a fun way to try and enjoy a meal. A few times we even had dinner down stairs on the craft table---- NOT KIDDING! The table finally arrived the day after Thanksgiving. I'm not complaining though (OK, so I did- and BIG TIME) but I am not anymore. I'm just thrilled that it's here and there is no more hunching over the island to get that family meal in. The other thing I love about this spot is that I can actually sit here and read a book, or whatever, and watch the kids play out back. It's awesome!!!
