I know your thinking--- snow shovels? These were a huge hit! Laney and Daniel could hardly wait to get outside. Daniel was in his snowsuit and boots before I had the breakfast dishes rinsed and put into the dishwasher. Daniel doesn't get ready that fast for anything! When it comes to getting ready for anything he is the biggest lolly gagger you will ever meet.
I promise there is a story behind the shovels. I was out with the kids on the first snow day. I was shoveling the front walk when Daniel asked me if I had a shovel for him. I didn't, but I did find a dust pan. When Laney saw Daniel with his "shobel" she had to have one. I found another. They had so much fun digging in the snow!

I asked the kids to please put on their snowsuits so that we could all go out. Daniel insisted he had to have this hat and scarf, so out we went. I was left wondering why not the Santa hat?
