It seems like every weekend we have a huge list of projects to work on. This time we ignored them all! On saturday we went to a party thrown in our honor from the group Jesse is working with. We all had a great time!
But before that we went to toys r us to get Daniel some new toys. The debate was on! Jesse said hot wheels tracks were the way to go, because he had tons of fun playing with them when he was little. I said the wooden train tracks were the better chioce. So we came home with both. The hot wheels tracks were a huge disapointment (for Jesse, that is). They wouldn't stay together. In disgust Jesse said "They just don't make 'em like they used to!"
Oh, did I mention that we couldn't coax Daniel away from the wooden traintracks play center at the store! Needless to say he has been playing with them up a storm and taking them every place we go.
And, Sunday the projects were still there, but we set out on a hike and went investigating out in the woods. Oh, Daniel had so much fun!!!!!! and of course so did we :)
next stop was out to the new property. Daniel had fun searching for dandelion fluff- one of his favorite treasures and we enjoyed taking in the view.

Char- you take the most amazing photos. I'm always in awe of them. They truly capture the spirit of the moment.
You know..we are so guilty of letting go of family time..we are always caught up in our 2 do lists...I admire that you were able to let it go that weekend...
