Flannel pj's are a sure sign in our house that fall is on its way, and I can't believe it is already cold enough for flannel pj's! Daniel was so happy last night to wear his new flannel jammies he called them his "woof-woof j's fluffy", and then proceeded to tell us "Fluffy waked!" with a giggle. If you haven't guessed "waked" means naked, and the fact that fluffy doesn't wear clothes like the rest of us is one of Daniel's very favorite topics as of late. I don't know why but with every changing season I am always caught off guard with how fast the weather changes. It seems early but we, started up the fire place tonight and it felt so good!! Daniel went and grabbed his fluffy Elmo chair for a front row seat. Ever since Papa Johnson showed Daniel how to get a fire going in the fireplace he has been fascinated. Luckily he knows it's hot so only wants to look at it and talk about it.
After the fire got going for a while it was time for fun with trains. Jesse and Daniel got out the GEO tracks and those two had a blast! Most evenings we try to spend outdoors, usually with Daniel on his big wheel, and us puttering around with the landscaping, and of course our evening walk, but it was really nice to spend the evening in for a change- just another sign of the changing seasons.

I agree the season change here so quickly as well. It has been low 60's here..and 50's in the am. now tomorrow it will be back in the 70's...but it was weird getting out the sweaters and jackets on the way to school!
wow, your blog is really coming along, i have missed so much here lately with blogs..just caught up on yours..just gorgeous and so is your land and those photos!!!
