What we've been up to

Well, we didn't do a whole lot of decorating this fall, but Daniel didn't seem to notice that. He was so excited when the decorations came out and he has had fun "rearranging" things over the past few weeks. He thinks it's a hoot to switch the scarecrowes on the door knobs and see if we will notice! But his favorites are the little pumkins which he loves to tote from here to there and count.--It was inevitable I heard him the other day "uh-oh! pu kin' broke it. Mama 'ix it!"

With all these fun fall outings we finally went and picked our pumpkins at a local pumpkin patch. It was a small field of pumpkins grown by a young man of about 11yrs old! We thought that was so cute and were super happy to get our pumpkins there. Daniel had fun picking just the right pumpkin and pulling the wagon around. But sadly tomorrow is Halloween and we haven't carved them yet. I don't think it's going to happen. Maybe I will get the crafts out and at least Daniel and I can have fun decorating them.

Today was costume day at Kindermusic and I had to prepare Daniel for that because as mcuh as he loves the "idea" of his "Foopaman" costume he really doesn't like wearing it. He loves talking about it and looking at it, but the big Superman 'S' on the front makes it so uncomfortable for him. When I told him it was costume day at Kindermusic and he would be seeing Ms. Jaema his teacher he was quite happy to wear it! But my poor little guy was so rigid and stiff at Kindermusic. He finally said to me "Foopaman costume all done Mama. All done, all done." And that was that no more foopaman. Daniel had a blast after that! I got this pic of Daniel and Ms. Jaema today, but that was after he had decided no more foopaman. We went to Toys R US afterward and Daniel picked some train conductor play clothes instead of a costume, so I guess that is what he will be afterall. He wore it for like 4hrs today! As long as he is comfortable and happy that's all that really matters. No matter which he chooses tomorrow he will be adorable.

And lastly, this is a lo I did yesterday. I haven't scrapped in what feels like forever and I'm kinda disapointed that this came out bottom heavy. But I am happy to be adding this to Daniel's book. His Grammy T. sent him this tee shirt just like his adorable cousins Tyrese and Terrance, and we think it is the absolute sweetest that she thought of Daniel and even sent photos of his cousins.
