Valentine doghouse or not?

That is the question...I forgot to add this to the previous post, so here it is. Just a little something I made for Jesse and Daniel for Valentines day. I had 2 other projects going in addition to this one, but sadly I just didn't find the time to get those finished up in time.

Jesse mentioned that he was a little bummed that he didn't get a personal gift from me at Christmas. I never really thought that he appreciated my homemade personal gifts in the past, so I stopped making them for him. His comment at Christmas got me thinking that maybe I was wrong, so I started on a couple of projects with Jesse in mind (for Valentines Day). So, the big day arrived and I admit it, not one of my projects was complete- gasp! Luckliy Jesse was working and by the time he arrived home it was complete. I was pretty happy with how it turned out----> That was until I presented it to him and Daniel, and Jesse is like "Oh, that's nice. I'll look at it later." Well let me tell you later never arrived! I finally just put it way in one of my drawers with scrapbooking supplies. Truth be told it's not Daniel's favorite either. He prefers the one I put together on our family.

Back to Jesse, ok so, maybe I exagerated- a little bit- later did arrive- but I mean late! Jesse realized he hadn't looked at it after we had gone to bed for the night. He writes me a sweet note saying how great it is and how much he likes it----too little too late mister. Just as I suspected previously the key to this mans heart---> CHOCOLATE!!!! Lots and lots of CHOCOLATE :)

Valentine doghouse? nah, I'm still flying high over all those dozens of gorgeous blooms, but personal gifts from me in the future- the verdict is still out...
