Friday brought a double treat for Daniel. A new session of Kindermusic, and Jesse got to come since he was off from work. Daniel had a blast! He kept whispering in my ear asking me when his new teacher was going to bring out the "jingle bells", and as soon as she did he went for something totally diferent- the glockenspiel. The biggest hit though were the scarves! Even at almost 3 Daniel loves to play where is Daniel :)

and here, I couldn't help but insert a few pics of our sweet cuddle bug.

GYMNASTICS!
Saturday began with Daniel's first gymnastics class. Jesse and I divided up responsibilities. He took Daniel to class while I registered Daniel for class, and of course the line was a mile long and I was at the end of it. But from my vantage point at the back of the line I had full view of the gymnastics proceedings and shennanigans!
I swear, I saw one adorable blonde haired boy with mischief in his gait! You know that one little kid at every function running from here to there going crazy and getting into everything? Well in the past that has always been someoneleses kid. Not this time! On Satuday morning it was our own sweet Daniel. There was just so much to do and he wanted to do it all, and NOW!!!! Jesse and I had a blast runing from here to there trying to keep up with the little man.

The thing he loved the most though was during the free play at the end, there was this slide that ended in pool of blue foam blocks. He must have slid a hundred times, and then there was the inchworm. I always thought those were such fun ride on toys when I was a kid. He rode and rode that little inchworm. I thought for sure the little man would fall asleep on the way home, but no he was full of energy the rest of the afternoon. He had so much fun- I am really looking forward to taking him again this week.

WINTER WALK
With the recent freezing temps it has been hard to get out and enjoy the beautiful snow covered scenery, but Sunday brought bright sun and warmer temps, and so the Johnson clan bundled up and headed for the trails. We tried a new one that we absolutely loved! I can't wait to walk it again in spring and see how the scenery and wildlife views may change. Jesse decided to take on the photographic duties for the day and seemed to have a lot of fun doing so. He got this shot of Daniel, Fluffs, and myself at the beginning of our walk.
Moments later we came across about 13 wild turkeys. Jesse had a really hard time getting a good shot as Mr. Fluffs was going crazy barking his head off and frightening them. It was a cool sight to see them out on their walk as well. We always have so much fun on our nature walks.
A short stop on the way back to watch the swans, geese, and ducks in the river.
A fun ending to a great weekend together :)
