Our beautiful daughter Fikir!Anxious for the call that was to come from our agency sometime after 4pm, I spent the day with knots in my stomach and a stress headache. Luckily Daniel was oblivious to this and had a fabulous day playing out in the yard with neighborhood friends, and Jesse was busy at work with tech issues, and procedures. That kept his mind pretty preoccupied! The greatly anticipated call came in around 3:30. WE PASSED COURT!!!!
Exhale and release...It's amazing how all the pent up worry and stress was so quickly released after that wonderful phone call. We had so many bumps and blips and setbacks along the way and we know we still have the final stretch to go, but it feels so wonderful to be at this point in the journey. And, even with all the blips and such the timing lately has been pretty cool! We received our referral for Fikir the Thursday before Father's day and now have passed court just a few days before Jesse's 40Th!
Now we very excitedly wait for travel dates and in the mean time thumb wrestle over who gets to travel!
