My boring little corner

So, Jesse has, and I may add unsolicited by me, told me that since I made a resolution to blog everyday that my blog has become a big fat snooze fest. So, to my beloved family and friends I want you to know that I don't ever expect anyone to read my blog. If I include something that I think you might find interesting or humorous I may email you and let you know, so that you can "stop by" if you wish. Of course you are welcome anytime:) I want to blog the everyday, the mundane, the little things. If you know me, you know I've got the memory of a drunk with a head injury. That's why I want to write a history of these everyday occurrences, so that I can remember them. I want my children to know that I cared enough to do it. I want them to know that I never regretted staying home with them. That in fact I loved it. That I found real treasure in everyday I spent with them- treasure in the everyday, the mundane, and yes, for some the boring. So, if you feel fed up with all the spice and drama out there, and you need a break, you know just where to come. Grab, your mug, stop on by and make yourself comfortable.

***** note to the reader- Jesse and I actually laughed and joked about his unsolicited comment. And more importantly, he loves reading about his kids. He would just write differently than I do.

*****note to Jesse- Get your own blog!

******note to self- It's OK to be boring. It's OK to have have my own boring little corner in this world.

today's tidbits- Daniel and Elena had a play date with Julia today at her house. They were so excited about going to Julia's that they had their boots on before I got off the phone with Clare this morning. They had loads of fun, so much so that Julia became the "STAR" of their lunch time chatter when we came home. I hope we can do it again real soon!

I began calling preschools today to schedule visits. We had narrowed the list down to 6 of interest. That was before I began calling. Now, we are down to 3 after marking some off the list per my conversation with them. I scheduled with 2 and am waiting on a call back for the 3rd, and I may add that 3rd one is a very distant 3rd. I am a bit anxious to visit these schools. If nothing good transpires from these visits it may be time to start reconsidering homeschooling----I'm not kidding. We are not sending our kids just anywhere. There is a family in our neighborhood that homemschools and all their children seem so happy, smart, and well adjusted. I know homeschooling isn't a good match for every child and every family. It's just something kicking around in my head again...

Little one you are just too cute for words!
